Seoul, South Korea – The Korea Youth Summit 2025, organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB), proved that youth leadership goes beyond intellectual exchange—it also includes cultural pride. One of the summit’s most anticipated segments, the Traditional Costume Parade, gave participants the opportunity to showcase their heritage through dress.
This year, the Best Costume Award was proudly won by two delegates from MAN 2 Kota Malang, Indonesia:
Their stunning representation of Indonesian traditional attire brought cultural identity to the global stage in a way that was both elegant and meaningful.
When asked about his outfit, Nijananda shared:
“Yeah, I'm wearing a Sunda attribute that's called Mojang Jajaka. The attributes are clothes with a yellow color and then a batik here and Sunda cap, that’s it.”
He proudly added:
“Hi everyone, today we are wearing traditional clothes from Indonesia.”
Meanwhile, Aulia Azizahra, winner in the female category, explained her attire:
“I'm wearing traditional costume from Sumatra with this one and the red costume, red gold costume.”
Their appearance drew admiration from fellow delegates and highlighted the rich cultural diversity within Indonesia itself.
